I like the way Justin Kow­nacki tack­led the prob­lem. I direct you to his words, as he echoes many of my own thoughts.

The upshot of my think­ing is this: We should spend less time being social about noth­ing and spend more time doing inter­est­ing things that are wor­thy of other people’s attention.
