Writing

Chris Miller got his start work­ing at the Akron Bea­con Jour­nal in the sports depart­ment dur­ing col­lege. He was the editor-in-chief for his col­lege news­pa­per for two years, and after col­lege he made his liv­ing mov­ing from book­store to book­store in North­east­ern Ohio. His pas­sion for writ­ing landed him a posi­tion as an edi­tor atBook­stacks Unlim­ited in 1996. Even after shift­ing his career from words to soft­ware devel­op­ment, he kept his hand in the game as founder/author for Oth­er­world Cre­ations where con­tribut­ing toward the role-playing world of Diomin. His cur­rent projects include:
  • Hack To The Future, a monthly colu mn for Star­burst magazine
  • The Secret Lair, an online mag­a­zine a nd pod­cast ded­i­cated to world dom­i­na­tion and the plight of the grown-up geek. Fr om an undis­closed loca­tion near Cleve­land Ohio, Over­lords Chris Miller and Kris John­son are joined by a stel­lar cast of con­trib­u­tors to share with you the trial s, tra­vails, and trivia of being a mod­ern day work­ing stiff with a strong escapi st streak.
