Sustainable Software Workshop

published

Announcement: I’m working to bring Sparkbox’s Build Right: Sustainable Software Workshop to Cleveland early in 2020.

From the workshop website:

Do you enjoy building software? In the new Build Right: Sustainable Software Workshop, Ryan Cromwell and Gary Tempus give you the tools and techniques you need to get in front of your project and add value—while still having fun.

As software delivery teams increase in size, establishing a common vision and maintaining the project’s conceptual integrity become more difficult. Growth also brings the additional challenges of carving up work to maximize throughput and getting a solution to market in a reasonable time.

During this workshop, Ryan and Gary explore various tools and techniques for empowering teams to build a shared vision of their project—both where it is now and where it needs to go in the future. They give attendees hands-on experience with strategic and tactical techniques to sustainably deliver software.

The workshop teaches you to

  • Acknowledge pain points in a growing project
  • Establish relevance with current development situations
  • Explore tools and techniques to sustainably deliver valuable software guided by empirical data”

If this is something you are interested in, drop me a line. I’ll keep you in the loop. My contact info is at the bottom of the page.

EDIT: I’ve been told that some folks like forms. Here’s one. This is just to be notified as to what is going on as plans develop, not signing up for the Workshop proper.
